Direction Needed..

.. to any relevant posts about the rear brake and how to improve. My guess is the master cylinder is too small as it seams to run out of poke before it's begun to start working. I've heard that the back brake isn't the best, but FFS, the rear SLS drum on my 44 year old Triumph is better than that! :smt017
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Use the engine brakeing and use kzmillie's guide to bleeding the brakes (look in the technical section)

Engine braking is ace and i'm fed up of bleeding the bleeder..lol.. It's not of huge importance.. I just like to know it'll be there and of some use if ever needed. :smt002

I've managed to bleed it a bit differently than KZ's method:

- take the calliper off, position it so that the bleed nipple is at the lowest point,
- pump brake fluid through the bleed nipple upwards a few times,
- push the pistons back into the calliper,
- reverse bleed again,

Worked for me :smt001

EDIT:
Also I've adjusted the rear brake rod, #8 here:
BUT:

IF YOU OVERDO IT, YOU'LL BOIL THE BRAKE FLUID AND YOUR BRAKE WILL SIEZE!!!
