Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
That doesn't sound good, Pete.
I presume you're returning it to a more original condition then?
Unless you need to turn it all into cash then I guess options are:

That sounds a bit drastic Pete, obviously something major, so I respect your decision and hope you can sort things quickly.
Do you still have time to put it back to standard and sell the modded bits off, as that would obviously be the best way?
Good luck either way, and if there is anything we can help with, let us know and we'll do our best.

Dealers huh !
I'd have probably even gone to £850 for it myself ... and that's with my own knowledge of it's history, poorly executed modifications and the fact that it's one of those awful, slow black(ish) ones.

.... so, when are we sending Mr Puppy for his neutering ..... i've a couple of spare bricks available which could facilitate a budget-priced DIY procedure ....Jadaris wrote:Kwackerz wrote:So Alad keeps the beast to ride another dayGood news !
Yes is sorted nowlosing the falco would have been like taking a squeaky toy from a puppy, all lost and bewildered

Try it with a couple of pickled onions first to get a feel for it, bet you can't do it without wincing and cringing.I've a couple of spare bricks available which could facilitate a budget-priced DIY procedure
