Political/Military confusion.

Now the O'barmy chap in the White House has sacked the NATO Commander in Afghanistan, and appointed another, do you think it's time we left him to get on with his private war?

Sounds completely barking at first glance, admittedly however it's how we do business nowadays. He is in direct command of the actions of NATO troops, despite being a septic, so is in essence the 'NATO Commander' albeit on a technicality. We (as in UK) have controlled yank troops before in the area.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.
