G2 Throttle Tamer

#1 Post by D-Rider » Tue Jun 22, 2010 12:43 pm

You could argue this should be in the General Aprilia section or possibly the Technical section .... but as I reckon most people that would want to talk about it are here, I've been a naughty boy and posted it in the Falco section .......

I came across a link to this in a thread on AF1 ... thought you might be interested:

We all know that on slippery conditions the Falco's initial throttle response can be a bit fierce and needs a careful hand.

This sounds a very interesting product to help - slowing initial throttle response but allowing normal response as the throttle is opened further.

and put them all together and you get one of these

They do them for Aprilia but only the 450/550 crosser bikes and the 2-oh-no are listed. Not sure whether they fit bikes such as the Falco.

Very simple but if they,ve got it right, very effective idea.

If you can get it for the Tuono I see no reason why it shouldn't fit all Aprilias with the same switchgear.

I've no doubt this is quite pricy - especially with the over-engineered alloy throttle tube
