A Few surplus Falco bits

#1 Post by Renevator » Tue Jun 15, 2010 11:29 pm

These came with the Falco I've just bought, so I thought I'd post them up here in case they are use to anyone. Original parts that have been replaced by aftermarket stuff.
Let me know if you'd like any of them & we'll work out a deal.

Clear screen (slight mark in centre as in photo) £15

Sachs Shock (Looks in good nick, estimate it came off bike at around 19,000 miles) £40

Pair of Exhaust silencers (Some marks on one can - will take to work & try to polish them out if you want) £80

Lower fairing section (Replaced by bellypan) £20

Tried to estimate fair prices but let me know what you think. Postage to be worked out once items are packed up.

Cheers

IF they are your spare stock items, keep them

just in case....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

If you ever (heaven forbid) decide to sell the Falco you'll find you get a lot more cash by selling the add-on bits (aftermarket shock, bellypan, screen, cans) separately and putting the bike back to standard with the bits you're thinking of selling now.

Good point fella's but I've not really got space - small terraced house, small full shed and no garage :smt009 (though I'm working on that). I don't expect these will go quickly though, being the parts folk replace first anyway, but thanks for the tip. Sell the Falco?? .....well, depends if it behaves itself :smt002

You may have to pay someone to take the stock end cans away, we all have a pair already :smt002

... and some of us have 3 pairs of the things taking up valuable real-estate in the garage :smt009

Thought I'd flogged a pair to a mille owner the other day but his Mrs got wind of him spending more money .... and I was only asking for £30 for the pair
