Central Meet in August

#1 Post by HisNibbs » Sun Jun 13, 2010 8:18 pm

Pick a week end in August. Arrive Saturday some time. If you are early enough Rockingham Classic motorcycles at the bottom of the road is worth a visit and I can lead any brave souls who want to explore some testing roads in the local area. Camp over Satuday night, potter about and be gone before I have to go to work on Monday.

Can proberbly fit seven or eight 2 person tents, plus I have a big tent that sleeps 10 in 4 compartments. So could be cosy for some.

Not really sure of feasibility at the moment but least likely to be away on 21st - so I'll vote for that one .... though I can't guarantee I can make it yet

End of August or even Sep would be better, but I'll vote 21st.

Can probably do anything except 21st. I booked a (romantic) trip to Paris for me and Mrs Mango last week and it really would be more than my life is worth to cancel or rearrange now...

I'm not having much luck with these meet-ups/ride-outs... :smt012

have gone for 21st....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Bring Mrs Mango along :smt008

I'm guessing Pete that I should vote for the 21st seeing as we will be coming together

Have gone for 21st, but we're on about holidays around that time (and it's our anniversary mid-August), but would be good to pull the bike out of the garage at least once this year :smt009

The road from Melton to MH is a good one... crossing the A47 halfway.

I *should* be attending an evening reception for a wedding on that day, but I'd rather meet up with all you guys and have a beer... I'll see what I can do :)
