I am a Forum site virgin but willing to give it a go. I have just bought an aprilia Falco (sexy dream machine) but am a bit nervous about the sidestand after hearing a few comments and seeing that it does seem a bit unsteady. I have heard of a few mods that can be done and was looking for a few tips. I am also after a pillion seat for it and starting to think it is like looking for the holy grail! Here goes, Steve...

Aprilia Falco sidestand worries!
Hi to anyone / everyone out there,
I am a Forum site virgin but willing to give it a go. Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
Hi Steve and welcome.
Yes sorting the sidestand is a very worthwhile first modification.
Didn't yours come with a rear seat then? - they should have both the hump and the rear seat as standard.
They can be hard to come by but it you watch ebay for long enough, one should come along eventually.
So, tell us about this Falco of yours - what year, what colour, what's been done to it and what have you been riding up until now (and anything else you want to let us know)
Cheers!

Thanks for the quick reply, this isn't too painful after all. Will check out the bubseywoo one. My new baby is a 53 plate black and bronze beauty, and replaces the old cbr600 f. Unfortunely it didnt have the seat with it. will attempt to attach a photo.
Thanks again...
Thanks again...
While we're in the bar.... I'll have a double JD please
