torque wrench

#1 Post by loopie2 » Wed Jun 02, 2010 1:57 pm

looking for a good quality low cost torque wrench to use on the bike, dont want to shear the drain nut when it comes to the oil change, I've had a scout on screwfix and the price's seem to vary, I'm not after the dogs bollocks but dont want a piece of $hit either, any suggestions?

Halfords seem to be pretty good quality and value.

This is an old thread but probably still relevant. https://www.ridersite.com/viewtopic.ph ... ench#10820
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

am just about to buy a low setting one specifically for the oil related stuff :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
