indies wiring/ebay side stand
have also asked this on the 'tech' bit but not sure how many people look there!!
Have some new Tuono indies to fit, wiring colours are orange and green, the ones on my Flaco are blue and brown. Can someone tell me which ones to marry up please??
Has anyone ordered a 'new' side stand recently from the guy on ebay recently, ordered mine 3-4 weeks ago, guy was in for an operation for a couple of weeks but should be posting by now, will chase again but just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat waiting

Yep as has been said bulbs will work either way round but it is good practice to feed the supply to the bobble on the end of the bulb and the ground connection to the outside case bit of the bulb .... but either way will work.

It's not that important TBH and will make no difference in how they work but if you wanted to you could pull the bulb out and buzz it through with a meter.
I just tried looking up the wiring in the online user manuals but the Tuono manual shows the indicators as having a Blue wire and a Black wire.
so I can't help there - sorry.

Thanks
The bikes in Hinckley at my parents as they have somewhere to keep it, i work in Marlow and live in West Yorkshire so it's all very complicated!!
I get down there/up there every couple of weeks at weekends and occasionally take the bike out, I bought the bike from a guy in Nuneaton of all places, I'm a Sky Blue fan so although not too familiar with the areas i know Cov farily well
I think i'll be okay with the indies but may need you're help with the rear shock? We spoke some weeks ago about suspension, i looked into having the rear and front serviced, the Halesowen guys quoted £350 for the fronts and £150 for the rear (bought a white Mille from AF1), Gareth in York was cheaper, never heard back from Griff. May now put the front forks on hold and send off the rear to get serviced so i could pop over to yours as i know you have an Abba stand and you know what you're doing or i could go to Tamworth and get it set up there
Looking at getting some end cans from Carbon Company, and have started filling my head with Power Comanders and Air boxes whatever they are??
It never ends!!!!
Thanks D-rider for the offer and will see how things go if that's okay?

Yeah Griff gets very busy and his response to email and PMs on forums can be a bit hit and miss - the best way bay far is to ring him - once you've got his attention there's no problem.
It's not that he isn't bothered about people contacting him - far from it - it's just the number that do is rather hard to keep up with.
I know Marlow a bit - I grew up in Reading and visited Marlow from time to time - especially when I was in the scouts and used to camp at their national watersports centre just outside Marlow.
(no, Pete
.... watersports as in boats and camp as in live in a tent ... )

Yep, happy to help - as long as I'm not pre-booked .... the mrs always has a good list of jobs (though there's usually a way round this)furygan man wrote:Well if you know Marlow, the company is based in Wooburn Green a bit further along
I know what you mean, i'm a bit lazy regarding the phone and tend to rely on email. I know he's the guy who knows so i'll sort something out with him hopefully, if not be on stanby!
