Givi Monolock Luggage

Does anyone on here have a Monolock top box as opposed to a Monokey one? I have managed to fit a Wingrack to the Falco and bought what I thought was a Monokey top box but when I went to pick it up found it was the wrong type. The party line from Givi is that they are to be used on scooters and bikes of 500cc or less but I can't see any real difference between this and the (more expensive) 'big bike' type. I can get a replacement top plate to make it fit the rack but I am just wondering if anyone has any experience of such things that they would like to share.

i had the givi rack on mine the difference is the monolock box is locked on to the rack and can't be released untill the box is unlocked.
but then again my mate had the monokey box on his fazer 1000 and it never fell off.
