Fitting throttle hand grip?

#1 Post by ReggieGasket » Sat May 08, 2010 5:31 pm

I've fitted a couple of Renthal grips for my track day tomorrow and the right hand grip is too loose as the throttle is odd - it's not a smooth surface like most throttles, so the grip doesn't get snug. Left hand one is perfect. Any suggestions? I could tape the throttle up, but not sure if that would hold all day. It's too loose to use lock wire or cable ties even.

Plumbers tape and hairspray

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
