Found this on AF 1 racing ........was wondering if it is just for the Mille or does the falco have the same thing ...........And more to the point should we be doing it as well ...........
Remove ram-air duct snorkels
There are intake runner snorkels or restrictors in the air ducts. These are located inside the air ducts that feed the airbox, one on each side. Remove middle side fairings with large Phillips. Then, with a Phillips screwdriver, remove the small screws that separate the air duct into halves. Remove the outer half of the air duct. You will now see a long skinny black snorkel tube. A single Phillips screw holds in the intake snorkel. Remove snorkel from inside the air duct, and replace outer air duct, and screws attaching it. Repeat procedure for other side.

working on a diving boat for a company called ;- Hallin ..........i run the sat.systems for divers in Saturation so the next month is going to be spent mixing gas and running around after divers .........how lucky am i !!! Trips meant to be about four weeks which will be good as after that the time really starts to drag ........
I'm a home bird for sure so miss it when i'm not here ....................but it pays the bills so it evens it self out after a while ..........Basically try and get five months over each year and the sixth month ( if you can get it ) is a bonus ................that's the one where all the toys come from !!!!

I have a mate who works on oil exploration boats, he does the echolocation stuff looking for potential oil bearing strata.
As he spends 6 months on the boats he doesn't pay any tax, some sort of seaman thing he reckons, so might be worth hanging out for another month of the year for a tasty chunk in the hip pocket.
Providing my mate is telling the truth and not a tax dodger.
He's based in the UK BTW.

It's called seafarers tax and you have to spend 183 days out the country to get tax free although not as straight forward as that ......it's hard to get it going and even harder to keep it going ...............it's all about time in and time out the country so if your doing month on month off you may not get it ......BUT if you do then yes it's a tax free year .........and if i was a singal man that would mean holiday , more bikes and party time but as i have women and kids and mortgage it means she has her ideas and i'll be lucky to see any of it .........
HOW DOES THAT WORK !!!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yes Yes i know i'm a WUSS but you show me any man who thinks he's the boss in a house full off women ( one wife two daughters ) ....i don't stand a chance with any money i'll ever make ........let alone get in the bath room !!
Bit pee'd off as work was cancelled on the day i was due to go as they can't get me a visa in time so i am now back to looking for work again .......BUGGER !!! Mind you i have now had time to fit not only a 15 t front sprocket but also had a nice new Gabro chip turn up so have now changed out the Edwards one i had and the bike runs a lot better ........... like i was told by the gods on here it was running too rich but now seems to be running better ...........no more popping off the throttle ..
Once more the ridersite gods have shown that they know what they're talking about .......... how do they do it
