Rossi receives a five euro voucher to buy petrol

A joke from an Italian television programme, as shown on RTVE, referred to the World Champion’s premature end to his victory lap in Qatar last weekend after running out of petrol on his factory Yamaha M1 prototype. Rossi was met upon his return to Italy by a television crew who presented him with a five euro petrol voucher. Rossi’s typically quick-witted response: “This is redeemable at all gas stations, right?!”
