Doesnt apply to me cos I pay a fixed charge in lieu of council tax, but may be worth a look at!

We rebanded ours back aways when we could prove house price wasn't within the band allotted, can't get lower band now - but we appear to be in the most expensive area with no services to speak of. We're on the very edge, so too far away for the council to bother with. Postal address is the next county and when I called the council they tried to tell me we were not in the county (even the local cop shop is 20 miles away) [/rant]

I am keeping quiet - I have an ex council house that was three bedroomed etc

a previous owner has been a little naughty in some changes he made - like the 4th bedroom, the new study and a new utility room....

I am in Band B.... think i am happy with that :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
