The membership going down by a few hundred over the next day or so, dont worry, Im just deleting some of the dross
IF you accidentally get deleted, I apologise in advance. It shouldnt happen as I review each one I delete properly, but.. ya never know...

We do this on a classic bike site I administrate. It's like the old saying "Profit is sanity, Turnover is vanity". All very well having thousands of registered users, but when only 100 or so post, it doesn't mean shit.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

There are a lot of 'lurkers' mainly on the falco side of life, I tend to leave those be as theyre doing no harm, but we do get a steady flow of spam accounts that dont get approved, we tend to delete them daily, which isnt a problem, however now and again I get the chainsaw out and do a proper bit of pruning of the membership list.

What about the spammers?
I notice we have a few these days cluttering every thread up demanding some sort of reply, but rarely getting one

its getting back down to an acceptible level I reckon once ive deleted all the dross/spam sign ups we'll be back to a healthy 800 or so members
