Be better if it went all the way to the ground, then any nosy feckers wouldn't know there was a bike in it.

My thoughts are that it really depends on what you are hoping for.

If you want to keep the elements off the bike - (ie an upgrade from leaving it outside), then it's obviously quite an improvement.

If you want to do that and also improve security, well, it'll help a bit in hiding it but that's about all.

If you really want to improve security and weather protection, you could do with something like this: http://www.motosafe.co.uk/bikesafe-c19.html
.... but they cost serious money ......

Another benefit for the one you've seen is that if your bike is going on a camping holiday, it would have it's very own frame-tent.

I've no idea how robust it is and how long it would last you.

Hi all,

I guess this would be good for weather protection only! If you have space in the garden/yard, you could put up a breeze-block structure like I did for less than £100 :smt002 I even used a sheet of galvanised steel for the roof and kingspan.

Depending where you site it, it does need building/planning permission. Sorry can't attach pictures, don't know how too :smt017
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!
