Ye can sure as hell tell there's a general election coming up! Still not impressed by this muppet of a chancellor.. In fact i've not been impressed with any labour chancellor.. even from before i was born! They just don't seam to 'get it' and want to sell out too quickly. The Tories ent much better either. If labour win another term, im outa here!

I've never been impressed by any politician, other than perhaps Vince Cable from the current lot.
He always seems to talk common sence rather than the standard "party line". Otherwise known as complete BOLLOX.
It would be nice to have democracy some time as well, I've been around a long time and I've never seen it!

On the Government's own figures, in 5 years Britains National Debt will be £1.4 TRILLION....that's £1.400,000,000,000....and that's assuming a growth of 3.25% (the government's wildly optimistic figures which NO outside body agrees with)....just think about the mess they've made of our finances !

No just send them to the Tower, and off with their heads. The offcuts can then be lined up along the wall of the Embankment to remind any future members that they are supposed to be honest and democratic otherwise they get more of the same.
Sorry this word starting with the "D" might be a bit confusing for them. It relates to the idea that local people vote for somebody to represent them in Parliament, and this is their prime reason for being there. The do not just tow the partly line for ever and forget who voted for them in the first place. This can sometimes be difficult for some Tory MPs, (and others), who have an estate outside Brighton, a large home in London, but by some strange quirk of modern politics once spent 24 hours in South Yorkshire,(or similar) and somehow got voted in as a local MP. You can understand their utter confusion about their supposed relationship with this "alien" world.
To be absolutely even handed in my assessment, there can be a similar problem when an ex miner from South Wales ends up as a Labour MP in darkest Surrey.
As far as the prescribed punishment goes, such examples always worked well to remind wrong doers in times gone by for people like Cromwell and Henry 8.

Then again we could start off with Pete's idea then complete the hung, drawn and quartered bit, before feeding the leftovers to the Ravens at the Tower.
You may feel my ideas are a bit over the top, sorry I am just a democrat who hates all the current bent politicians.

I did that with the BMW, even got the VAT back (£1824.46) and when it was stolen told them but they said it doesn't matter :) that was in 2007

Also over 5 years if I still had it I could claim the full cost of the bike, and then sell it and pocket the money tax free. A 5 year old one would fetch about 4-5k.
