Newark Barge Rideout 2010

#1 Post by DavShill » Wed Mar 24, 2010 9:26 pm

Ok here goes - who wants to meet up at Newark mid-end April. Last year we copped for the first really sunny day of the season and had a great turnout. Followed by a nice ride to Willingham Woods led by Ken.

Let's get this one on the calendar thenI'll organise the much waited East Yorks/North Yorks loop.

Hands up :smt006

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'll be there .... hopefully on a bike this year .... as long as it's a weekend that I'm free.

Dave - why not turn this into a poll to help us collect which day is best for most people (I can't make such modifications to threads outside the Aprilia area)

Just a few final questions before Sunday.
Who thinks they will be coming?
Any ideas on arrival time?
(can't see anybody beating Ken and Ian at about 10;45hrs !!!)
Who would fancy a run out to Willingham, (Market Rasen)?
Others, having made a longer trip might obviously just like a meal and a chat before a long run home.

Felt a bit guilty last year with a group of us heading off for Willingham in the afternoon, with others left at Newark, but most people seemed to enjoy the ride out.

I've got a pass out for the day, so i'm up for a steady run out, like last year. :smt002
