I notice the DSA have nothing to say, stupid pillocks. Also it shows the attitude of this government towards the public, they all deserve to be hung, drawn and quartered. :smt013

A bit harsh to pin this on the Government.

The DSA, part of officialdom in the shape of the Civil Service, has gone way OTT.
The Government has obviously had similar concerns to us about this and the Transport Select Committee that the Government has set up to investigate it has clearly concluded so.

It seems to me that the Government are batting for us on this.

Let's hope that the recommendations get acted on.

As is well known the Un-Civil Service do what the government tells them, unless it affects their index linked pensions.

Concerns about New Test Vindicated by Parliament

#7 Post by Samray » Thu Mar 25, 2010 4:54 pm

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/new ... ngled.html

The Committee condemned ministers' failure to negotiate an exemption from EU rules stating that parts of the motorcycle test should be performed at 50kph (31.07mph).

MPs said it was "bizarre and confusing" that tests should be conducted at speeds not allowed in built-up areas, and that it should be "measured in units not commonly used in the UK"
