That if Edwards had won at Assen, who would be the current world champion? :smt005

... then Hayden would still have been world champion as Edwards would have finished ahead of BOTH Hayden AND Rossi - pushing Rossi one place further back and taking another point from his total .... assuming all other things being equal ....

What it would have meant is that the championship would have been won by someone with even fewer race wins

Yeah just realised that Edwards was 13th :smt005

Mind you I was hoping he'd win it anyway, he's certainly good enough to win a few.
