A cheap 125 for a girl who has just passed CBT and wishes to hone her skills, potter round and get a bit of road time going on, before she goes for her DAS.
Probably thinking CG125 kinda realms and money.
Anyone know of one going for sensible money and in sensible condition? Collection shouldnt be a problem as I nhave a trailer and will probably be roped in to collect the bike.
Missus of a mate asked via Mrs K and i promised to ask about.
If you know About, can you let him know im asking. cheers

Would you mind a little bit of work? Got a 96' CG125 in the garage doing nothing. Bought it a few years ago to use as a commuter hack, but have since passed me cage test, so thrash the taters out of that instead..lol.. Overall it's not too bad, just suffering cosmetically. Mr D-Rider knows this bike rather well.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

sounds about right. ill have a word as ive passed her the link to the thread. I reckon 200 in that condition isnt too bad a deal on either party. they throw an MOT on it and theyre looking at 250 -300 on a resale with a bit of work tarting it up, with it owing them nothing

Yeah - although Will needs a replacement V5 it IS his bike.
A while back he was in the process of long-term loaning it to someone who had just passed her CBT .... only she never got round to taking anything away other than the documents and key .... which she lost .....
Just insist that he sorts the front brake out .... I'm still trying to clean my underwear from the last time I rode it
(shouldn't be much effort to sort it though)

Try www.davidsilverspares.com for a lockset
I looked there last night and couldn't find one. TBH I find David Silver a bit hit and miss - though always worth a look for old Honda stuff.paddyz1 wrote:Try www.davidsilverspares.com for a lockset

Agreed - a fine company to deal with - just don't always have the bit listed that you are looking for. I realise you can't expect them to have everything.HowardQ wrote:I've used David Silver Spares for many years with no problems at all.
