Back from the past

Hi all, :smt006
I was a regular on the original site in 2003 but have been AWOL for various reasons (no, not been inside :smt018 ) Still got my red 2000 Falco but never seem to get out on her :smt010
Anyhoo, I will be selling her in the spring as I have gone mad and bought another Gpz750 Turbo (#4) the idea is that if I have a bike in the garage that is not being used, I would rather have a 25 year old potental classic than the modern Aprilia. Besides, she deserves better than to be sitting doing nothing year on year... 5000 miles when I got her - 9000 now! 1000 done on one trip to the IOM. How sad is that :smt087

Well that is VERY sad.

All bikes are for ridding , some can double as "works of art", very few are good investments. A 2000 Falco will not be "modern" much longer but 'll be a good ride for many years to come.

Any ways there is nowt as queer as folk and it'd be boring if we all thought the same.
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today

Hi again - I remember you :smt023

Even when the Falco has gone, stick around - Ridersite is broader than just Aprilias.

Any idea what you will be looking for when you sell?
I know someone who is after one but it will need to be old to be affordable for him.

Nice to be remembered, cheers :smt036 I got all nostalgic and got another Gpz 750 Turbo (blast from the past) Think it's a mid-life-crisis :smt100

It's really a time thing, I don't get the chance to ride much these days so I want her to go to someone who will enjoy her
