OK so some idiot has issued a fine but there's no way that will ever stand up in court - surely?

And when the police loose with costs awarded against them, the idiot will soon get told not to be so stupid again.

The problem is that with the potential cost of taking these things to court, most of us are too scared to do so and they go unchallenged.

do'nt be so sure andy the courts are under the same instruction.
the only way to fight this is for every case to be taken to court and clog the systm but i can't see that happening.

sometimes i wish we were more like the frence.

all he has to do wassay he was following government health instructions

catch it, kill it, bin it

that would be an interesting response!

and idiocy....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

There was a bike cop just like him in this area some years ago - he was known as Medal Man for the same reason. Made a right idiot of himself trying to do my hubby for doing 38mph - in a 40 limit!
Later on he wrote off his police bike by being an arse!
