1999 RSV Mille for sale

#1 Post by Kenif » Fri Jan 15, 2010 9:14 am

Got my 1999 RSV going up for sale at £2k ish . Figured that, if I waited for the snow, floods etc to stop, I'd never sell the thing so...

Aprilia RSV1000 Mille (original model, NOT Factory/R model), 1999 (T reg), Tax 03/10, MOT 08/10, 21200 Miles

Good bits

Beowulf exhaust (road legal) and original, Seat hump and Pillion pad, Radiator grills, New front brake discs, Gold front callipers (original red ones included)

New Sprag clutch, Recently serviced, Recent tyres, front and back

Upgraded Starter solenoid, Upgraded Battery, Replacement side stand

Datatool System 3 alarm/immobiliser, Crash mushrooms, Charger lead

Bad bits

Has fallen off side stand on both sides (at least once, possibly more!). Scratches on both sides, most noticeable around tail unit and belly pan. Replacement sidestand circumvents falling over problem but removes 'stand down' cutout switch

Bike has been well used over the last ten years and shows it in tired paintwork (minor scratches, stone chips etc)

Broken front seat clip (no negative effect, still bolts down, just thought I’d mention it!)

Rear seat has small tear on side

I'm in Lewisham, South East London and can be got via:

katiedrapes@yahoo.co.uk or 07837 437 848 if you wanted any more details

Have copied the photobucket links in but if they don't work, I will update it tonight (minus work restrictions!)

Amazingly, no, not even at that price! :smt017

Figured I'd leave the ads running for a while but probably trade it in when I've decided what's next. If I put it against a brand new bike, I'll get more on the trade-in, I just always prefer to sell my bikes to people before the shop's profit is added :smt002

Although I was impressed with the chap who phoned me last night, offered me £1500 and said he'd come up at midnight and pick it up! Managed to convince him that I probably wouldn't be interested in any part of that deal... :

Very wise.

Just thought I'd ask as I may be in the market for another Priller soon and your's looks like it may be a good buy.[/u]
