RHS radiator question

#1 Post by sabestian » Sun Feb 18, 2007 12:46 pm

I've posted it also in sale section but nobody visits it anyway ;)

My radiator has been damaged (mounting bracket thorn off, nothing new), then repaired by the guy who seamed to know what he was doing (I was wrong obviously). It was leaking ever since... Anyone knows where can I repair it or anyone has a spare one in a shed? I'd prefer the other option, just have enough of worrying (what is that drop under my bike ????).

If you only have a slight weep you could try some radiator gue such as Bars leaks, (Halfords) I used some on my my old bike and it did the job but it's not ideal.

Clicky

I used the plastic padding version ^^ to repair my damaged falco radiator, a TL1000 rad and my old ducati crankcase after it spat the chain off.
Surface has to be mega-clean for it to bond properly. I used a dremel to scratch it all up and it worked fine.
