Yeah, I paid more for mine back in 2007. Looked the same... But they don't state the mileage, do they?

Yeah i think those carbon stickers will be covering up a fairing scuff.

Both the crash mushroom and the front fork-slider on the RHS show damage (yellow on the 5pm position, all-black on the LHS) - looks like it may have been down in a low-speed low-side, but may not have sustained damage elsewhere cos of the mushrooms. Hopefully I'm wrong, but just give it a once over, check the mirror edges, bar-ends and the exhaust (quite often touches down in a spill) for scuffs, also check that the brake & clutch levers are pucker Brembo levers (not replaced with pattern ones). Also check that everything looks straight, try and chuck a leg over and check that the bars "feel" straight

I've also got some eggs that I can teach you to suck when you've got five... :smt002

I'd be worried why the seller is saying 'nothing wrong' when the bike has clearly been down.

Right .............now you lot have put doubt in my head i have yet again rang the man ..........i asked him straight to the point has it been down the road and NO was the answer ........dropped and again NO was the answer ...............i asked about the brake levers and clutch all being OK and his words were "everything is as it left the factory " .........i will let you eagle eyed people know the truth as soon as i see it myself ..........trust me when i say i will be going over it with a fine tooth comb when it arrives ..........well if not me then a good friend who knows his bikes !!! :smt003 If it has some little scuffs here and there then i'm not fussed at all BUT if it has been down the road then i will find out ..........i hope !!!!!!

Still excited about getting it as i've got about a grands worth of goodies to add on already ...........Ohlins shock .......new chip for ecu .......evo airbox from Mr Hook at RSVR forum ..........braided hoses ......... tailtidy ........etc etc .......some good evenngs in the garage for me ......better get the heater working !!!

By the way anyone know who won the SL carbon cans on ebay last night ??? I bid £323 for my final bet and lost out by a tenner ........... :smt013 Looks like it's going to have to be the GP stubby ones and a chip ..........loud loud loud ......... :smt001

tbh - with other mods being done, i would not buy the fuel cans - they are good, but with rene style airkit from Hook (Its not an evo type!) and new ecu, I would go for blue flame or similar

just my thoughts

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Fuel - yes I would certainly recommend them - they are very well made and the company are great to do business with. I placed my order a few years ago at the NEC show and they could not have been nicer or more helpful.

The can ("carbon effect" stainless) has been fitted for a few years now and I'm very happy with it.
