The End of Buell and MV to be sold

#1 Post by D-Rider » Thu Oct 15, 2009 2:55 pm

Hardly Ableson has announced that they will discontinue the Buell brand and sell off MV Agusta

http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/business/64352502.html

It seems they are reverting to the sale of agricultural equipment.

I hope someone picks up MV.

This is what Eric Buell has to say ....

any one else scared by buells assertion about american technology..... and he wonders why the dyke pump manufacturer pulled the plug... buell did have some decent engines at last....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Each F4CC comes with a special boxed certificate of origin and an expensive Italian wristwatch.

Oooh! Thatll please the bling crew when they cant buy Buell sunglasses and stuff any more..
We are trying to reach Erik Buell this morning for comments about Harley-Davidson Inc. shutting down the sport bike company that bears his name.

I would imagine 'bollocks' figures highly on the list of possible comments

Sorry DR, I didn't see that you had posted the link - I was just responding to someone saying they wondered what Erik Buell thought - they oviously missed the link too!
