Aprilia test rides

#1 Post by scorpio24v » Tue Oct 06, 2009 9:22 pm

While at the MCN live bash at Skeg Vegas this past weekend I made a pig of myself on other peoples petrol and rode the Shiver, Horrible snatchy throttle, sluggish and generally unpleasent. The Mana was a revelation, utterly brilliant and everything the Shiver aint, and the Tuono, awesome serious poke. The ride leaders and tailenders were a bit too pedestrian for my liking, but you cant have it all.

For me though the Mana was special and a true taste of what the future may hold when its a proper sized engine ie 1200cc. If you get the chance have a go.

I think mine was the only Falco and I did see a red/black RSV.

Yeah - the Mana has always fascinated me - seems a great idea - but one that people may just not give an opportunity to show them what it's really like.

Would like to try one myself .... though I can't see it replacing the Falco ....

In my "bikes of desire" I think the RSV4 has just overtaken the MV F4 .... so I'm now wondering how many years it will be before the second-hand prices of those become affordable .... as a play-machine alongside the mighty Falco of course
