#1 Post by GregD-UK » Sat Oct 03, 2009 5:05 pm

Hi all,

Got an orignal copy of a rare red rear lens for our falco in "Smoked," colour :smt007 I went to my fabricator's too see how my indicator mounts were doing, and blow me there was a smoked lens in his display cabinet!!! Thought I got ALL of the lens off the last production run me thought :smt017 Seeing how he is dragging his heels on my indicator mounts he let me have it cheap, well, I paid for it ages ago I thought.....

So, one available, if like scottyNI, no takers of a reasonable price, going on fleebay post hast :smt006

PM if you want to bid, highest, and closed bids only. No daft offers please Bigun :smt018
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

I am interested but as with the other lens seller I personally dont like the 'highest bid' idea on a forum of fellow riders. Might as well chuck it on Ebay then?

Hi all,

I get your resentment on guy's wanting to "make" some money on selling parts, but, as I said before, my friendly disposition was stretched the last time I offered these for cost plus postage. I was out of pocket for around £40-60 by the time all the guy's who paid by credit card on paypal :smt013 So, you can understand that I don't offer a friendly service and expect it too cost me my own money, not a done deal my friend.

That is why I was to recoup my loses so too speak :smt017

I was doing all a favour and got shafted basically :smt010

I feel for you GregD-UK but i will speak for all in saying that none of us shafted you. Everyone of us are gratefull for what you have done with the lenses, we even paid more on top after the initial price was quoted because of your shortfall. So please don't say you were shafted as i feel that is a slur on myself and others that 'helped' with the extra payment. Maybe some better wording like PAY PAL shafted you.

Hi all,

OK Paddyz, maybe my exact wording wasn't fair for those that offered to meet the shortfall. But, when I initially told everyone of the price and how to pay, I pointed out the extra cost of using credit cards, yes paypal have to make money. Bottom line, guys got a bespoke lens for less or same can't remember than a standard lens that you buy from aprilia :smt007

Anywho, this is besides the point, one "Smoked" lens for sale, offers welcome, hopefully when I do the mirror mounts for the gixer mirrors I won't lose out, if the demand is there of course :smt002
