tuono question
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

As a general rule of thumb I'd say yes it would. More so if your mate could fit a PC and have it set up on a Dyno properly of course. The race eprom should always be run with a race filter so the minimum should be a K&N or similar the std filter is far too restrictive
I'm not aware of any version of the V990 motor not benefitting from more air, although on my bike (Tuono 07) the differnce it made (Renegade airkit) was un-noticeable as a "seat of the pants" guide over the DNA filter I had fitted previously
The induction noise was much reduced from my experiences of the same kit on the Falco as well, maybe because the seating position is so different

I've spent 50% of my life riding motorcycles, the rest I've wasted!
