GUTTED!!! :smt010 How did you do that?

You could try tinting your red lense with some tint spray from halfords? Its about £10-15 a tin. Will give you the dark smoke look. I know the proper lense is as rare as rocking horse sh*te and no, I'm not selling mine! :smt002

Hope you get something sorted. :smt001

You poor poor man, they are indeed a thing of beauty and never to be replaced......if you do find one that's up for grabs I'd put your lottery numbers on as well.

Yep - I've been looking out for one for absolutely ages without success ... it was about the time that Mikeo stopped making them that I decided I wanted one - Doh!

I do have a set on Nooj's LED tail lights (again, no longer made) and they do look good through the standard red lens.
It was seeing a set of these on Tweaker's Falco during last September's rideout that convinced me I just had to have a set myself.

According to my missus, the lights are the brightest thing on my bike - dunno WHAT she meant :smt102
The ride is the reason ........ the destination is just the excuse.

Yep, it would have gone along the lines of "Untie me now you SoB" as that's the only way I will ever get her on a bike. :smt009 You can imagine how popular I became as each of my 3 lads got bikes :smt091

Parallel Paths!

In the 'old days' my wife used to ride pillion - in fact for many years we didn't have a car and used to go everywhere by bike.

However, she didn't want me to buy the Falco and won't even look at it (although I bet she notices when the single can goes on!).

Now the boys .... my youngest is 15yrs 11 months and wants a moped the day he's 16. Comment the other night when he mentioned his provisional license was "and I suppose you're going to let him".
My eldest, who this week returned home to drop out of Uni during his 2nd year (doing well on the course but decided he doesn't like it!), also plans to get a bike .... and my middle son also wants one - but he's no money so that may wait a bit!

So yeah - my love of bikes does get me into bother!

My wife likes looking at bikes, she won't get on one however, as they are (in her words) for people who want to die, as they are dangerous, I got 5 minutes of grief when my youngest son started riding. Nowadays she doesn't get annoyed by my son or I riding, after all neither of us is your typical Sunday rider (lets see how many cars I can overtake before going 'yikes' and having a skid mark in the underwear).

Bikes are only as dangerous as whose in (supposedly) control of it.
