hi all
im new to this site and new to the touno so hi again
bought a 2004 touno r with a few standard mods from what ive been reading, 15t front sprocket,leo can,k&n filter,bar raisers?, pc maybe others but not sure and wanted to ask you guys a question, the seller said the pc was fitted a few years ago and hes not done anything with it (different maps etc.) everything runs fine i think apart from a smell of fuel so is this normal to run with rich fuel mix not noticed myself just told from other riders, apart from that im finding it quite fun and addictive think im hooked.

think i need a double bubble though fancied a puig but cant find one for this model.

also have sv1000s v twin but totally different ride still fun though.

hope you enjoy the Tuono.
Like many others on here, I run a Falco.

The mods you have sound fine with me, as most of us have done something similar.
Can't help on the PC I'm afraid, as never had one.
You can log onto the site and download them in basic varieties, such as standard bike, standard plus race cans etc., or if you can afford it, get it run up on a Dyno with an operator who knows how to tune the PC, many will.
Just enjoy the bike, V twins are seriously addictive, especially the ones with a V60.

Welcome on board Yorkie,

I run a later model T to you so I have the axone ECU system fitted, rather than the ECU with chip. However these motors love lots of fresh air, so as you are already running the K&N maybe the solution is have a dyno run with an experienced Dynojet man and get the PC mapped to your bike properly

Welcome Yorkie. Quite a large Tyke contingent on here now. F9's your 2OhNo man so listen and learn.. and he's quite near you too. Don't go round too often cos his bikes are always just too shiny.

I'll have you know I've just done a 2,000 mile tour of northern Spain and the weather was scorchio right up till getting off the ferry at Portsmouth.

As you might have guessed it was stair rodding with rain and I got a lovely welcome from the UK Police at Border Control who wanted to ask me about my...and I quote "Lovely loud exhausts"

I then had to ride 60 miles in the pouring rain up to Oxford beofre it stopped and cried every bloody mile of em!

It's only taken about 6hrs of cleaning to get her back up to scratch so far

seems i couldn,t wait so took it to be tested at a local dynojet garage the results were not to bad lean at low revs rich at high revs and so on, so had it remapped only rode it back so cant say yet about the results, on paper its gone from 117 bhp to 123 bhp 70 torque to 75, minimal i suppose.
ill post up any difference i notice
