Indicator flasher unit recomendations?

#1 Post by HisNibbs » Wed Sep 23, 2009 4:16 pm

Had to replace my aftermarket rear indicators the other day. The old ones had just rusted out. The new replacement ones looked simillar but were a bit brighter. Worked ok initially but now the indicators no longer flash. I guess the watage must have been a bit higher and has blown the "flasher unit".

Can any one indicate (sic) where the unit is and a suitable aftermarket replacement please?

Just fitted new indicators to mine and had the same trouble. The wattage of the ones I fitted were double that of the original.
The rely is under the passenger seat left hand side of the sub frame. It ha a double connector to it which are at right angles to each other. You can find plenty of suitable replacements on ebay (where I got mine from) see link. They are a straight swop. This is the exact same one I used. Delivered in a couple of days.
