Elefant

#1 Post by Thumper » Wed Sep 02, 2009 8:31 pm

I always wanted one of these :smt003

but I had no room for one.
Since parting with my much loved falco I finally found this one last year. Although rather tatty and neglected.
Anyhow it has been hard work but it is running well and usable and a little better than it was :smt001

It has lived up to expectations even though a little dated by to days standard it's a hoot to ride. :smt003 character and stile....smile

Dunno it looks pretty good to me. Sad reflection of the roads in Berkshire that you need one of those though. :smt002

Well its a bit naff localy Falcopops, speed limmits are coming down to stupid levals and no place to ride a falco properly, the elefant is fast enough to keep pace on the lanes and B roads, it's very comfy for my old bones...smile
Good news is I am relocating to Nofolk soon, maybe I will get another falco..smile.
Keeping the elefant though lovly old ducati V-twin motor, come to love it.

where in norfolk mate?

i may well be able to show you some fun routes....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
