Try to steal my FALCO would you !

#1 Post by yellowasp » Sat Aug 22, 2009 8:57 am

Yep

At 1.10am some scroat set my bike alarm off and had pushed it against the wall. I looked out the window and saw him running off quickly followed by me shouting some obsenity out of the window.

I also noticed he had left his pushbike on the floor at the bottom of my drive so I quickly get dressed.

As I am in the kitchen putting on my size 9 steel toe caps the cunt comes back for his pushie.

I was out the door and gave chase and I caught him.

The CUNT then pulled a knife and before he could say " I'm a cyclist " he was on the floor, knife removed and feeling my fist pushed up against his face.

I called the police while I had him pinned on the floor who arrived in about 5 minutes. During this time I had a little fun playing a nutcase.

I'm afraid he picked on the wrong bloke and the wrong bike.

Now my feelers are out to find out where this cunt resides

Nice to hear of one being caught in the act.

Any damage to the bike?

No damage to the bike, was pushed against the wall but no damage. Bike alarm did its job and its both wheels have a chain and lock and also through a wall anchor along with disk lock so some time is needed to get it all off. Then he has to move the car etc, etc.

Lets just say while i had him pinned on the floor I had him scared while waiting for the police. He was screaming at them to get me off him in the end. Think he thought I was some sort of nutter

:smt003

I will soon find out where he is from then the fun will begin

Well done for catching the bstd and hopefully teaching him a lesson.

Respect for disarming him, I've always wondederd how I'd handle that for real as I appreciate its very different from a learning situation. Not so sure about the plans to follow up though........

Me neither - let the courts do their stuff - there's no sense in putting yourself in a position where you could be on the wrong side of the law too.

...I've had two bikes stolen in this country. Good on ya for getting the bastard. :smt006 Brave move getting the guy - dunno what I'd have done in the same situation.

go to the media with it - both your local paper and the MCN

have a go hero stance etc

say about the silent majority etc but do stress that you did not realise he had pulled a knife on you, you just acted on instinct adn now you are scared of what might have been

i suspect that the local media will have a feel day - and that should nicely prejudice the court pre proceedings :)

(Magistrates and immediate referral to crown court as it is a custodial sentence over 6 months?)

oh - and well done

(Don't let the fun happen for a few months.... I know that a local scrote who beat me up is now getting nervous as i am moving out of the area.... tempus fugit as they say .....)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Excellent result!

My dads bike got pinched a few years ago and was found in the local rough estate. The cop invloved happened to be an ex pupil of my dads and let slip the culprits address (prolific bike thief). Needless to say, he won't be darkening my folks property again! :smt002

I'm impressed you kept hold of him, I'd have been bouncing him off every wall in near proximity!

You should have cut his balls off and gave them to your missus for earings. Low scum deserve no better. Bastards have no respect for anyones property and have no idea how hard people have to work to get it. GOOD ON YER!

Not sure I'd have been so mild mannered.

I'd be caliming self defence while the cops were trying to pull his own knife out of his neck. I kinda get a red mist, always have and even although I know it I have trouble controlling it when the chips are down.

Nice save though and well done for letting the law work for you (for the timebeing, be careful). Wouldn't go into anymore on an open forum or anywhere else for that matter. It's all done and dusted as far as you're concerned I'd bet anyway.

Sound advice - leave the rest to the law and karma ;)

It reminds me of my father chasing scum through the woods The scum had been trying to break into a self-built shed, my father noticed it and grabbed first thing next to him - an axe. Fortunately his not a fast runner!

Good job, mate. What a looser, though. No tools, a pushbike...Not a pro. Hopefully they won't get near your bike.
