#1 Post by MartDude » Sat Aug 01, 2009 10:38 am

Just seen this; might be some bike-related products involved?

It's the usual thing.

Scammer buys a hostname in your local country, sets up a redirect back to their website in [wherever] and away they go. (They don't even need to set up a redirect, they can run their site from a local hosting company if they feel the need to.)

Buyer beware is all you can really say.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Yeah, it's been going on for ages, you have to read the small print very carefully, but you can still get caught out.

It's happened to me with computer parts, but the only bad bit was a longer delivery time.

I bought something from a site once.

www.mandp.co.uk

Bought a chain splitter that they said was really good and high quality.
when i got it it was fucking useless, broke the first time i used it and was clearly inferior. Im sure it was chinese by origin.

Think all chain splitters break first time used.
Mine did and i've heard of others on here that have done the same.
