I watched a guy having trouble getting air in his front tyre today whilst filling up my wife's car. Bloody grage pumps never fit bike wheels do they and its a pain to carry a pump.
I had some 90% valves fitted to my falco but I used to carry a home made flexi, an old foot pump hose with a cut of car tyre valve in one end secured with a hose clip. You simply fitted the hose to the wheel using the foot pump connector and attached the air line to the tyre vale in the hose. It was small enough to fit into the bikes tool roll and got plenty of use.

Great idea! I shall have to remember that next week when im at work, see if I cant knock something similar up
I have seen (on the latest Army Landrovers) one similar to the truck extension, but made of rubber. Not had any to trial (Im not MT streamed) but i'd imagine they'll do the same thing as yours

I saw somewhere a device that uses sparklet type bulbs to inflate a tyre.
I'd never use a garage air pump on a bike, they aren't any good.

Would you care to explain Gio .... I'd not trust the gauge on them but not sure what the problem might be with the pump itself.

I check my tyres about once a week and since I got the BM I've only had to top the tyres up once, the pressure had dropped about 2lbs on the front (so strictly speaking not a necessity).
If I go on a long trip I always carry my foot pump.

I always thought BMW stood for Bavarian motors Gio but it must be Bloody Marvelous wheels
