Great day! Drove up saturday and stayed on the outskirts of Nottingham. Went into the City for several drinks too many - jesus, are there some nice women around up there?!
Was feeling decidedly rough yesterday and wanted to curl up and die, but after another pint at about 12 or so, I got going again.
Top day, must have walked the equivalent of a lap or maybe 2 changing places to watch from.
Unfortunately had to witness Nori Haga's terrible crash at close range and he sure got a battering from the Ducati. Was a bit of a relief when he got up OK.
The R1 sounded ace and almost shattered our ear drums, but to me, i think the RSV4 sounded a bit nicer (and quieter) apart from the 4 or 5 times when Biaggi nearly had a highside, the beast just kept spinning up on him out of Coppice where we were for the second race.
Lots of nice bikes in the car park, plenty of RSV's but I didn't see any Falcos....
