Have you been round Brands before?

If not Padock is going to surprise you and don't get heavy handed pulling through Clearways...

I kind of wish I was brave enough these days but I fear the old "red mist" might get me, if not that then there is the obsession that had me spending all my money to go round and round in circles until I fell off, or something broke. Then I'd have to spend more to to put the pieces back together again so I could do the same the next season.

Anyway enjoy and take your time to get up to speed.

Paddock is awesome but Clearways is better. My fastest kneedown ever.

Druids is very difficult to get right, actually it got me once, I ended in the grass...

Druids is a perfect roundabout but paddock hill was awesome, that the best place for scraping my knee along the ground then again I say that but my hero blob snapped off at surtess(shite the life out of me lol).
Clearways is now bloody awful there is a huge gap where the track has spread it like been stuck in a tram line

Sound like you had a good day and well done for bringing it back in one piece.

So is that a front or rear tyre?.

Either way it looks like the tyre has been overheating and is what'll happen if you run road tyres soft for track use. When they get like that they are not gripping well just wearing out fast.

that is the front the bike felt vague braking into druids, but apart from that it felt fantastic. It was just groung clearance that was a issue as I am not confident enough to ride through the pegs grounding out
the tryes were bridgestone 016s

Good photos' and a nice dry track by the look of it.

You must have had a great time. Were there many other riders on the track whilst you were there?

Did you go with a group of mates or was this a solo visit?

I'm trying to get a group of mates to do a track day, either at Snetterton or Brands as they are the nearest, so here's hoping.

Has anyone done a track day at Snetterton before and if so is it recommended?

One of my favourite tracks - some very fast corners and you can get the bike flat out down both straights - one of the few places you can do that.
