Tail tidy

#1 Post by jayboy » Sun Jun 14, 2009 10:08 am

Hello, right, who's fitted a tail tidy, where is the cheapest place to get one and can I see a picture please?!
The standard number plate on mine would end where it currently starts from, height-wise, think it would look great shunted up 8 inches.

rsvr.net
the evo one

most pictures of bikes on this site :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

This is probably the cheapest - Falcomunky's DIY version - easy to do too.

I'm planning a variation on this theme :smt002

Hi guys, yeah seen the evo one on rsvr, wasn't sure if there were any more available anywhere?

I'm a bit lacking in decent tools and anywhere to work at the moment, apart from a dodgy workmate copy!

Anyone got any before & after pics of their own bike?

Well you know what the before looks like so here's an after....

It's an Evo one. Very good but you have to run a smaller plate.

Niiiice, clean too mate!

Running a smaller plate is a good thing, what's yours a 7x5? I had a tiny 6x4 on the RSV, looked pukka.

Right, now I'm gonna call you a git, cause I want some cans and those clear lights and indy's. I know the flashers are later RSV/Tuono ones, but where are the lights from?

Yes I think it is 7 x 5. Tidy but not taking the piss.

The rear lens is one of GregD's limited run. He went to the trouble of getting some made up in clear and smoked and I think lost both of his hands in the ensuing feeding frenzy :smt003

....waaah! I wanna black one! Waaah! Black is the sexiest, fastest bestest colour ever! (Still suffering Jayboy jealousy after he scored that black/bronze 2005 minter for less than 3 grand).
