June meet?

#1 Post by HisNibbs » Sat May 30, 2009 8:42 pm

At the recent Aprilia club day I offered to host a gathering.

I've been given Papal dispensation and have suggested for June, either the 13th or 27th.

If some want to travel light I can put up a big tent in preparation that has 4 separate double sleeping compartments. There is probably room for about 10 other tents. There is also a spare room or two.

I reckon from Saturday lunch time to Sunday sometime. I have a fire pit that we can cook from and I suggest you bring what you want with you and I'll fill in with some basics. The garage has a beer fridge and I can set up music outside if wanted.

If anyone wants to explore the back roads of these parts I could lead a ride out, but best catch me early before I've had a drink or two.

You don't have to turn up on a Falco, in fact suitable donor bikes or curiosities, are more than welcome.

I am within 15 miles of the A14, M1, M6 interchange on a ridge overlooking Market Harborough.

I'll now leave it up to you lot to confirm if and when etc.
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today

If it's the 13th I'm spraying bikes with ACF50 (all are welcome to stand and watch and have a chat), if it's the 27th I'm in France.

Not really sure of my plans for June yet but I'll be there if I'm not away.

Thanks for the offer Keith - I would have been there but we go on holiday on 28th. Hope the sun shines for you and you get some takers.

Ok so not a lot of interest then.

Unless there were a few others planning (?) to turn up I think it best that I cancel.

My applogies to Syltiz.

sorry keith - i cannot even ride atm

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I really don't think I'd like to spend a weekend watching you spraying . . .
