Whilst i've been bored in plaster....
Just waiting for my tuono subframe to turn up from RSVR.net, and some way of supporting the bike so i can do my swingarm and ohlins shock swap. and fit that lovely carbon fairing

The gold bars suit it well. You'll need some more carbon to go with the fairing, otherwise it'll look odd on its own, mud guard, hugger etc. CH'CHiinnnnng!

Bars are propper tuono - they match the forks nicely
Found carbon fibre grail on ebay shop - front rsv mudguard, hugger, rad covers and chain guard for not alot of £££ from portugal

Need to sort risers first, I've got sod all steering lock at the moment - and im still screenless

Plaster came of last wednesday

The bars are sorted, and my screen turned up this morning. So hopefully i'll be on the road tonight!!!

That is looking good.

I have one slight concern. The brake pipes seem close to the rads and will presumably get closer as the forks compress. Just make sure there is no possibility of contact.

Used an abm top yoke with some ktm fatbar risers. With some machined extentions so it clears the fairing.
Its a bit of a mish mash, but im a mish mash kinda guy

They miss the radiator. Realised i bought ones with the wrong fittings when i was fitting them, but they do the job, and hopefully wont fall off

Its now rideable

, went for quick thrash around my local roads. Feels so much nicer with the propper bars, will be better when i buy an abba stand and fit the ohlins shock

Just bought propper tuono risers and top yoke. So the set up i have here at the moment will soon be for sale. I've just fitted the (black) mille swinger and ohlin shock. To be honest, i cant feel a difference between the blue spring shock and te ohlins.
Still need to tidy up the wiring, but im pretty much there.
Thinking about getting rid of the tuono fairing - and going for a streetfighter fairing now my new insurance company is more understanding

Will cpost up some pics when i take em

I can only think that the Ohlins must be set up very badly - mine made a world of difference - quick, bumpy roads especially.
For a while I had to go back to the blue springer - it's deficiencies were immediately apparent.
They do say that the adjustability on Ohlins kit has far greater effect than most others - so there is more scope for it to get set up badly whilst it has the potential to be far better when set up right.

Hope you get it sorted - must be a bit of a disappointment at present.
