Although I've not got one that I want to part with, which version are you after?
The early one with the bigger hole or the later one with the smaller hole?

mmmm ..... it's not the plate that matters, it's the year of manufacture. There's a label under the rider's seat that will tell you that.

I'm not 100% sure of when the change over started but as far as I know, it was the ones that started life as Red or Black that have the larger ducts through to the air box .... up to and including the year 2000 I think.

.... and Joe, no it's not a joke ..... it's probably one of the mods to meet noise or emissions regs or something.

Theres only one part number listed for that duct, surely if there was 2 fifferent kinds, there would be 2 part numbers ?

Anyways, has anyone got an extra one ?

i think that now you can only buy the second version of the ducts - hence why only one part number

(All the black ones had the larger snorkels afaik - and most of the red ones?? )

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yes. went for a trip up to Applecross (north scotland), last week, was a frikin nightmare without the fairing. my neck was killing me :-)
Ive installed the upper fairing only, no sides or lower ... looks pretty good.

ill post a pic tomorrow.

You still got the Falco Tommy .. any new mods ?

I've found the pictures that show the differences:

First the "snorkel" that fits beneath the air box to which the ducts connect .... early style on left, later style on right:

Then each "snorkel" together with the associated part that sthompson1 is after that connects to the main air tubes and carries the air through the frame to the snorkel and on into the airbox.
This time the early style is on the right, the later style on the left:
