a friend of mine totalled his daytona - and i mean totalled it
maybe the tank was ok - but EVERY other panel was a mess.
there was a big hole in the exhaust. the rear seat/pod would not fit on as the rear sub frame was so twisted and the front forks may have gone down - but did not rise up again.. oh - and the bottom of one fork was a little ground down - so ground down you could not release the front wheel..... and the clock mount off the head stock was sheered off etc = ie a right bloody mess.....
the insurance company write the bike off - no shit!
three weeks later you see the bike on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %26otn%3D2
you know that the description listed is a lie
in fact it is more than a lie, it is a dangerous lie - anyone stupid enough to ride that is putting their life on the line.....
so - what would you do?
what would you do?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yup, I'd have to agree with Sylitz on this, the rear sea pod seems fine as does most of the rear bodywork. The exhaust isn't too bad either. I reckon it's probably a different bike or it's had some work done before being offered up on auctionSyltiz wrote:Not to doubt you, but are you sure its the same bike? Your description and the picture dont quite match

I've spent 50% of my life riding motorcycles, the rest I've wasted!

ok - i felt that the laws of probability were to close - the front damage is a mirror copy of what i have on my phone - and is why i am so certain
