Clutch slave cylinder seal

#1 Post by Dusty » Fri Apr 24, 2009 4:06 pm

I'm being lazy, guys. To save me stripping the cylinder before I get a new seal, would someone please confirm which part on the attached diagram is the seal. Is it number 24, described as a gasket? Image The diagram isn't 100% clear to me; that part could be a sealing gsaket for the two pump halves. However, there's nothing else shown as a seal so in the absence of any wise counsel, that's what I'll order. Or maybe I'll just strip it and check! Thanks in advance.[/b]

Yep. No 24 is the boy.

Shop around - pretty sure mine didn't cost £12

Thanks, Fausto. I appreciate your help. £15 does seem rather pricey! However, much less than an MPL!

Clutch Seal No.24

#6 Post by aspguitars » Thu Aug 20, 2009 3:29 pm

Hi! all
have just bought a new seal from my local Aprilia dealer in N.Baddersley. With club discount, just over £13. Quite expensive really considering it's just a rubber seal.

Ade.
