Beautiful weather in Scotland, long run through the Trossachs yesterday, Callendar, Aberfoyle over the Duke's Pass and round Stirling magic day. A run down into the Borders today, dry roads and not too much traffic. A fantastic weekend's biking. Where ever I park the Falco it gets tons of attention from other bikers, why on earth was it not a sales success? I think the UK Aprilia marketing people need shot!
from what I have heard, it was too much of an inbetween bike. For a few quid more you could buy a mille. It was way too sporty to be a serious sports tourer. Ie slipper clutch, still quite racey postition. So most people just paid the extra grand or whatever it was and bought the RSV. Then there is the futura if you want touring, RSV for race rep, Tuono for street, guess that leaves it as maybe an allrounder?EdinburghFalco wrote:Beautiful weather in Scotland, long run through the Trossachs yesterday, Callendar, Aberfoyle over the Duke's Pass and round Stirling magic day.
