New Toy madness

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Mon Apr 06, 2009 6:22 pm

http://gallery.me.com/aladinsaneuk#100000

i acquired this a few months ago, and finally got round to playing with it

Quality is crap - I do need to change the mounting point

the ride is my trip to work - well the middle 6 miles of it

naturally enough for artistic reasons the footage has been sped up to give an impression of speed, but at no time were speed limits broken

I reckon this is the Falco's natural habitat btw.... fast A roads - shortly to become 50mph A roads but there you go

Oh - bastard youtube took exception to the music.. and that is a real shame as I was listening to this track as I was riding it.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

What set up have you got?
I just got a camcorder off fleabay to do this. All I need now is the bullet camera.

I realised the other day that I've got all the bits I need to film from the bike too - small remote camera & camcorder with external AV in.

Must have a go at this too.

Like the way you've enhanced the lean angles to match the speeded up footage - nice to see advanced video techniques being put to good use.

Just reminded me of the on-line hazard awareness tests, where you click on the perceived hazards. It's only when you see footage like this that you realise how many potential hazards your brain processes during a ride.
Nice toy by the way.. must see if I can lash one up.
