Bloody expensive cans :(
Howdy folks, long time no posty on here, but like my bike, I've come out of winter hibernation! ;)
Anyhoo, was hoping to pick these up but they've gone up to the ridiculously high price of £275 - for used exhausts ffs!!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... NA:GB:1123
I fancy some new cans on mine (I have high level Fighter cans at the mo) but I want to take the mrs pillion and I can't with the fighter cans - I've given up on ever seeing any fighter pegs :(
So... anybody recommend some exhausts? Loud is good, not interested in quiet, might prefer some with removable baffles for MOT time (though I've never had a problem with my fighter cans, which sound like the fires of Hades open up behind you!)
Was thinking either Fuel carbon effect or Beowulf black cans.
Ideas?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Dunno if it will help but I've told him to sell them to you as you ride one of the ultra-rare Oasis Green Falcoshornetrider wrote:Mwah!
I did see that thread last week I think but hadn't revisited it. I've posted on it and hopefully he'll respond. I don't post much 'over there' though
.... any excuse
I can second the quality of the Fuel 'fake carbon' cans. They look way better in the flesh than in any photos. I've not ever taken the baffles out due to lazyness and I use my bike early some mornings and get on with my neighbours
but even with baffles in they're slightly louder than stock and sound way meatier

Cheers big ears! I appear to have forgotten my bloody login details for AF1 already, unless I've done a typo. Will keep an eye on that thread anyway.D-Rider wrote:Dunno if it will help but I've told him to sell them to you as you ride one of the ultra-rare Oasis Green Falcoshornetrider wrote:Mwah!

Mind you - aladinsane - your solution looks pretty neat (as posted on AF1). I've only seen that done before with quite long spacers which look precarious - however yours look pretty cool and more solid. I've already sourced some grey standard pegs in anticipation of possibly buying some new cans - but I'm not that much of a spanner monkey to be able to drill out a rod. :(
Timovee - got any pics of your cans? Care to describe the condition of them, any scratches, marks etc?
