man down but ok

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Sat Mar 28, 2009 8:58 pm

just to let folks know that Young Mr Grace - sorry, D Rider had an off earlier today

was knocked off by a car while taking his sons 125 for an mot

He has broken some ribs and is being kept in hospital over night. Rather scarily, Sky TV are making a series at the hospital and he tells me he is going to be in it....

He is in good spirits and says it is a hell of a way to spend his son's 18th birthday!

He neglected to tell me which hospital he is in, but I did tell him to ask the nurses for a catheter and a daily enema.... I am caring like that

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

The things people will do to get on TV never fail to surprise me ! :smt002

Hope you don't feel the need to laugh or cough too much and heal quickly.

Sorry to hear that, Andy. Hope you're not in too much discomfort. So for your son's birthday present you trashed his bike? Looking on the bright side, at least it wasn't the Falco...

Get better quickly, and make sure you're fit for June (I guess Newark is expecting too much now...)

Leave the small bikes to the young ones, they bounce better.
