Respray

#1 Post by mrapriliafalco » Thu Mar 19, 2009 2:51 pm

I was thinking of getting my bike resprayed and really cannot decide which colour to go for.
Would you go for a totally different colour so it does not like your trying to hide something??? What colour do you think would look awesome and, also where would you get decals from
So anyone gonna help with a colour scheme as I am very interested in you ideas

A pure gloss white looks great. There is a pic of one floating around somewhere

My own preference would be for a single colour and I wouldn't bother with decals. Race rep paintschemes soon look out of date.

am slowly acquiring a second set of body panels....

and i have a paint scheme sorted - an interesting mat black....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

shootmyscoot recently posted pictures of a white with red bits Falco on a trackday.

Looked better than I thought it would.

Im also collecting body work for a complete second set. I was going to do mine a pearl/gloss white - search AF1, there is a piccy in there.

I've been gradually removing the decals from mine and now only have the Aprilia on the tank left. No choice with that one as it's laquered on. It's obviously a personal thing but I much prefer it without the graphics. At least on a black one.

Full fairing in high gloss black, Gold anodised frame, swingarm and wheels.
(But you can't get the frame anodised apparently :smt013 )

That would rock my boat. I am painting my falco black this year
